The Digital Technology awards are a submission-based awards program combined with a large, cross-industry brand performance survey that recognises both leading and up-and-coming digital businesses across Australia, so being nominated as a finalist was truly special. 

The Application Process

We were approached to apply for the award in March based on LawMaster’s excellent results from the brand performance survey. Our team fervently worked through the written submission process and created a short video on what success means to LawMaster, to ensure our application was submitted in time before the deadline. All submissions were reviewed by a panel of respected industry professionals and scored against specific law category criteria. This meant that we would be competing against the some of the best digital businesses Australia has to offer, putting us up against some stiff competition.

The Awards

On Tuesday the 18th of May we gathered around our computers and readied ourselves for the digital event. First came the rankings of the accounting software category with Practice Ignition taking out the top spot. Then it was time for the law category, we moved even closer to our screens as the rankings were read out; 8, 7, 6, no mention of LawMaster, 5, 4, 3 FilePro, JADE, LexisNexis, we had made the top 2, finally 2 got read out...LawMaster. We came 2nd in the overall rankings for Law. We are thrilled with this result and are extremely proud to be ranked so highly against our fellow competitors. Everyone at LawMaster is deserved of this award and so to our developers, account managers, helpdesk and all other staff, congratulations!
