Together, we can help Cancer Council raise much-needed funds that will go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs and advocacy.
Cancer is a major health problem in Australia – we all know someone who has been affected by it. Coping with cancer is extremely difficult for patients and their families.
The work that Cancer Council do makes a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer and their loved ones. In 2020, Cancer Council provided information and counselling support to almost 40,000 callers affected by a diagnosis, and to more than 45,000 people through their online community. They also supported people receiving treatment by subsidising over 88,000 nights of accommodation and providing more than 1.79 million kilometres of volunteer-driven transport.
The impact of fundraising events like Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is significant. Thanks to fundraising by Biggest Morning Tea hosts in previous years, Australia is now on track to be the first country to eliminate cervical cancer by as early as 2028. Funds raised have directly contributed to advances in cancer research, successful cervical cancer screening programs and the HPV vaccine.
We want to support the amazing work that Cancer Council do. On 18 May, our team will be bringing in their favourite morning tea goodies to share, and we’ll be holding a friendly bake-off to determine who at LawMaster will be crowned the best baker. The prize is coveted: bragging rights until next year’s morning tea, and the added satisfaction of knowing that we’ve all worked together towards our fundraising goal to support people affected by cancer.
Organised and inspired by our finance and administration team, our aim is to undertake more fundraising and give back to our communities.

Donations over $2 are tax deductable, and the impact you will have on Australians affected by cancer will be immeasurable. We appreciate any contribution.
